Animal Care

The cubs have started their animal care badge, so we had 2 special guests to help the cubs learn about the commitment and effort involved in owning a pet. Lenni and Meg, 2 basset hounds, spent the evening at the meeting where the cubs walked them, learnt about the tasks of a caring for a dog and of course much belly rubbing, chin scratching and cuddles. We aren’t sure who enjoyed it more the cubs or the hounds!

Bibbys Farm June Camp.

At our recent camp at Bibby’s Farm, the weather was fantastic and we had alot of fun.

We went climbing, shot some bolts from cross bows, made paracord bracelets, learned how to gut and prepare fish and cooked over a fire.

42nd and 6th Bolton make Friends

We made some new friends from 6th Bolton and had a water fight to cool off! We are not sure there was a winner, but everyone was drenched… see you again soon 6th for a rematch?!

Scout vs Cubs climb off

We Love Manchester Emergency Fund

Camp wasn’t just an opportunity for our Cubs and Scouts to have fun, but they made and sold paracord bracelets and cakes to raise money for the “We Love Manchester Emergency Fund“. With so many Beavers at Bibby’s for their Pirate themed fun day the group managed to raise over £120!!
